Burson is currently seeking a Account Manager (Consultant) - Internal Communications on an exclusive secondment assignment at our client's office (Energy/Oil & Gas) in Abu Dhabi.
We are looking for a professional and passionate communications expert with strong and varied experience in the region, a passion for developing and executing internal communications campaigns that deliver real change and engage internal audiences across different markets, including site-based employees. You will be obsessive when it comes to having an eye for detail and delighting the client. You will also be an experienced writer with proven project management experience.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement an internal communication strategy that reflects the organization’s strategic vision and manage internal communications output on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Advise the management on what information should be presented to employees and what channels and tactics should be used.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and exceed expectations in terms of results and professionalism; manage resources, review and approve deliverables.
- Support the development and fostering of a high-performance culture.
- Develop high-quality internal communications content, including employee newsletter, emails, Intranet articles and speeches.
- Develop and execute internal communications campaigns with full end-to-end support, including project management, employee toolkits, collateral and cascade.
- Develop post campaign reporting to influence future tactics and also provide insights to leadership.

- 7++ years’ relevant industry experience (including some agency experience preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Proven presentation and planning capabilities
- Ability to multi‐task and work in a team environment
- Advanced PPT skills
