YOUR ROLE AS A BURSON PERSON

We are looking to hire an Intern who is bursting with enthusiasm and passionate about starting a career in the industry to play a key role supporting the team for some of our biggest and best clients. You’ll be supporting a fast-paced team across major accounts, involved in the day-to-day running of campaigns and will work closely with account teams on a wide variety of tasks.

The role will require:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to apply this to emails, copy writing for media materials and contributing to team meetings
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills to support the team in the day to day running of busy accounts and campaigns alongside
  • Good time management
  • A knowledge and understanding of the UK media and influencer landscape
  • A passion for media and influencer relations
  • Ability to conduct media monitoring, compile reports and maintain media lists
  • Finger on the pulse and a desire to stay up to date on the news and industry trends, updating your teams and sharing things of interest to clients
  • Assist in event coordination and logistics
  • Knowledge and understanding of the social media environment
  • Must be available immediately

OUR LONDON OFFICE

Burson employs over 300 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
