The Consumer and Brand team at Burson is made up of 40 talented individuals who are passionate and driven to produce memorable, award-winning work for our clients. As an Influencer Account Director, you will serve as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to key clients, driving the development and execution of innovative influencer marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results. You will lead and mentor a team, foster strong client relationships at a senior level, and contribute significantly to the growth of Burson's influencer marketing practice.

What you'll do: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Influencer Account Director to provide strategic leadership and drive the success of our influencer marketing initiatives for major clients. The role will require you to:

  • Be a Visionary Influencer Marketing Strategist: Possess a deep and forward-thinking understanding of the influencer landscape, emerging platforms, and evolving trends. Develop and champion innovative influencer marketing strategies that align with clients' overall business objectives and deliver significant ROI.
  • Cultivate & Lead Senior Client Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on mutual respect, strategic counsel, and proven results. Proactively identify opportunities to expand client engagements and demonstrate the value of Burson's influencer marketing expertise.
  • Drive Influencer Innovation & Excellence: Lead the development and execution of best-in-class influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring creative excellence, strategic alignment, and measurable impact. Champion innovative approaches to influencer selection, content creation, and performance measurement.
  • Lead & Mentor a High-Performing Team: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to a team of influencer marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Business Development & Growth: Actively contribute to the growth of Burson's influencer marketing team by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and participating in new business pitches. Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and potential clients.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Extensive experience in influencer marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns for major brands.
  • Deep understanding of the influencer landscape, including various platforms, emerging trends, and best practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex client challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and track ROI.
  • A passion for influencer marketing and a commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients.

OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
