Senior Marketing Associate
Overview
The Business of Fashion is seeking a Senior Marketing Associate to drive audience growth and subscription starts across our BoF Professional subscription product. You will play a key role in developing, coordinating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns to engage our community and drive new subscriptions. You will contribute to the optimisation of customer engagement strategies, explore new marketing channels and support key launches to expand our global fashion community.

What We Need You To Do
As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to meet ambitious unique users and subscription starts targets.
In being successful in this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the planning, creation, execution and optimisation of customer engagement campaigns using our CRM platform Braze, including but not limited to: case study launches, acquisition campaigns and retention driving activities
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in leveraging key content and audience growth moments such as AI product launches, Beauty Awards and The State of Fashion, our annual industry leading report produced with McKinsey & Company
- Maintain the subscriptions marketing content campaign calendar, creating clear campaign timelines and managing all related stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
- Create campaign briefs and work collaboratively with the internal design team to ensure the timely delivery of all required campaign assets
- Track and report all related campaign performance metrics and propose opportunities for improvement
- Work in collaboration with our Email Marketing Specialist to optimise campaign targeting, effectiveness and efficiency
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in digital marketing to inform the optimal mix of platform, targeting, placement, creative, messaging and frequency
- Please note, the marketing team sits separate from the social media team at The Business of Fashion. However, we work collaboratively across various projects.
Who You Are
Passionate about digital marketing and understanding of the role of customer engagement in driving subscription growth, you’ll have experience of executing and optimising marketing campaigns utilising CRM platforms (such as Braze, Klaviyo or Launchmetrics).
You don’t need experience in fashion or beauty, but have an eagerness to learn and develop your knowledge of the industry, combined with the following skills to set you up for success:
- Excellent written English, including clear and concise copywriting and strong proofreading skills
- The ability to independently plan, build and manage marketing campaigns
- A good understanding of customer segmentation, content marketing and the role of customer engagement in driving paid subscriptions growth
- Experience in creating and maintaining campaign calendars, plans and timelines
- A good understanding of effective campaign creatives and how to draft creative briefs
- Data literacy, including an understanding of how to track campaign performance, build an Excel report and present campaign outcomes and recommendations in Google Slides
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Effective stakeholder management and adaptability to evolving prioritisations — you have a positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a small marketing team in which priorities and workload sometimes shift
- Flexibility to ‘pitch in’ with workload across the team as needed
