We're looking for hard-working dog lovers (and animals) like you to join our manufacturing team in Blyth, Doncaster. In return for your tail-wagging dedication, we offer a competitive wage of £12.84 per hour plus a shift premium of 20% (£15.41 per hour) base salary is £27,468, with 20% (£32,961)

Located in Blyth, Doncaster (just off the Junction of A1(M) and A614 Hill Top Roundabout, Blyth S81 8HG), Rudie's Kitchen is where our Butternut meals (we currently have 12 recipes) will be gently cooked, using human-quality ingredients. Rudie's is also where we will be packaging our meals and boxing them for our customers all over the UK. We are a close nit team, with a that family feel, looking to welcome more like minded people to our lovely team and keep work life fun and enjoyable.
We are pleased to say, this is a full-time permanent contract, you will be working a rolling average of 41 hours per week working on a shift rotation with a mixture of days / nights and some weekend working. The working shifts days consisting of 7am to 7pm and nights consisting of 7pm-7am.
Such as:
- 4 on, 4 off = 2 day, 2 nights
- 5 on, 5 off = 3 days, 2 nights
- 5 on, 5 off = 2 days, 3 nights
🐕🦺 A bit about the role
- Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks in line with the predefined schedule
- Replenish stock of consumables in the Kitchen and communal areas
- Change the sanitiser stations at specific times in the shift
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is readily available for the Production team
- Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
- Support Production teams with deep cleaning activity
- Carry out the deep cleaning of rooms, walls, ceiling, equipment, drainage system, ventilation
- Complete Cleaning-In-Place (CiP) programmes on our ovens and freezers
- Carry out titration checks on our chemicals and micro swabs on our surfaces
- Monitor our stock of cleaning chemicals and equipment on-site and re-order if necessary
- Log all cleaning activities on our paperless quality assurance system
- Able to follow and uphold all H&S guidelines and procedures, and work to SOP’s
🐶 A Paw-fect Candidate
- Previous cleaning experience within a food production environment
- A basic knowledge of cleaning machines like, foamers, lifters and scrubbers
- Comfortable working at heights and willing to undertake required training
- High level of accuracy and good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment with raw protein (lamb, pork, turkey, chicken)
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems
- Committed to food quality & safety
