This position is remotely based. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the design process from discovery to development for our enterprise applications that are relied upon by recognizable brands in the food service industry. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure complex user needs are translated into efficient workflows and intuitive interfaces.
Your impact:
- Core responsibility will be the design of Back Office with a focus on accounting.
- Work closely with PMs and developers to help define user requirements, provide UX/UI recommendations, apply a consistent design, and work to provide appropriate deliverables for each project.
- Work and collaborate in Figma to provide workflows, wireframes, user personas, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
- Communicate with customers and prospects as a part of fleshing out design concepts, validating UX patterns, and assessing usage behaviors.
- Work closely with software engineers and product managers to ensure designs are implemented and functionally complete.
- Help continue to integrate UX into the company process.
- Continue to build on new standards by building out the current design system, visual strategies, page layouts, processes, icons, and color palettes in accordance with Back Office Design Team standards.
- Clearly communicate the researched design vision to the product team and stakeholders.
- Analyze and improve user experiences and functionality offered by both our legacy and modern software, providing wireframes and storyboards for UX improvements.
- Utilize data from end-user feedback, business requirements, and technical considerations to deliver a holistic user experience.
About you:
- 3-5 years of proven and demonstrable experience as a digital product designer (Research, UX, UI) working on user experience scenarios
- Experience in deciphering and documenting user requirements.
- Experience growing a design culture within a company.
- Experience designing Mobile Apps.
- Experience interpreting insights from industry trends, end-user feedback, and designing with the business in mind while still being innovative.
- Experience in user testing, usability testing, and working with user acceptance criteria.
- Deep knowledge and experience across a range of design approaches and methodologies, using prototyping and wireframing using industry-standard tools.
- Proven communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space with verbal, written, and presentation skills to a variety of audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong communicator, able to self-manage, is a strong advocate for UX best practices and has a learner’s mentality.
- Ability to see a product from a holistic perspective and guide a long-term design vision.
- Ability to create and visualize solutions based on user requirements, including prototypes, mockups, and other visual designs and user flows.
- Ability to work with executives and manage competing opinions.
