Program Eligibility Manager

New London, CT; Remotely based

The Program Eligibility Manager will be responsible for managing the workload and team. You will have experience leading a team and knowledge of the food service industry, preferably with contracts and pricing. You also have strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. An aptitude for problem-solving and developing creative solutions is necessary.

This position is ideally based out of our New London, CT office but we are open to remote. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

  • Manage 4+ direct reports, including weekly check-ins, quarterly conversations, and annual reviews.
  • Continuous monitoring and adjusting team workload, priorities, KPIs, and goals.
  • Lead Weekly Team Meetings.
  • Lead Quarterly Team Meetings to review accomplishments and issues and establish annual SMART goals that are mapped out to those set for the Company and Department.
  • Review and approve timecards and PTO requests.
  • Managing member contract records utilizing Salesforce.com.
  • Facilitating the exchange of exclusion records to internal and external parties.
  • Ensuring proper exclusion record alignment with external parties.
  • Maintaining accurate records of key interactions within our environment.
  • Conducting periodic audits to ensure the accuracy of contract records.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and share results.
  • Continually evaluating current data structure and processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy, collaborating with the manager and Development as needed to implement improvements.

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience handling large data sets, including gathering, interpreting, and disseminating information.
  • Experience in the food service industry collaborating with distributors, suppliers, and/or operators.
  • Experience in leading a team and achieving personal and team goals.
  • A college degree is required, with a preference for a major in management information systems. Related experience in similar majors will also be considered.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and database management.
  • Experience with business intelligence software is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
    • Nested If Statements, PivotTables, Lookups, etc.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
