Account Executive

Remotely based

As an Account Executive with National Golf Course Restaurant Association (NGCRA), you'll be a key driver of revenue growth, serving as the strategic link between clients and our platform. You'll expand sales in existing accounts, identify and close new opportunities, and deliver measurable business results. You'll manage client relationships end-to-end and ensures programs perform at their highest potential. With a focus on upselling, cross-selling, and optimizing account performance, you’ll collaborate across internal teams to align strategies that fuel client success and company growth. Success in this role requires a proactive, adaptable mindset and a relentless drive to deliver value and exceed targets.

This position is remotely based with clients with high travel expectations around 50%.  We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

  • Drive Sales Growth and Business Development

    • Research and qualify prospective accounts within targeted markets; pursue leads and convert them into long-term partnerships.
    • Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and expand business across all sectors of the Platform.
    • Identify and cultivate client relationships that enhance market reach and revenue potential.
    • Increase the value of existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding client engagement in BEP programs.
    • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to inform sales strategy and positioning.

    Client Management and Relationship Building

    • Serve as the primary client contact, building trust-based relationships by understanding client goals and delivering tailored solutions.
    • Conduct regular meetings, calls, and business reviews to share updates, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
    • Proactively anticipate client needs, resolve issues efficiently, and communicate recommendations for improvement.
    • Maintain and grow client relationships within assigned territories, ensuring retention and satisfaction.
    • Growing relationships with all territory Distributing Partners.
    • Strategic Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnership

      • Partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Support, and Operations to deliver seamless client experience and meet performance goals.
      • Work collaboratively with Platform brand teams to understand interdependence and align strategies across the Buyers Edge Platform network.

      Operational Excellence and Sales Execution

      • Track all client activities, communications, and opportunities in Salesforce; ensure data accuracy across internal systems and databases.
      • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts to support the sales process.
      • Manage client onboarding, activation, and data setup to ensure smooth transitions.
      • Lead webinars, client introductions, and face-to-face meetings to promote engagement and accelerate sales cycles.
      • Provide timely follow-up after client interactions and ensure all commitments are met.
      • Travel as needed to meet clients, attend business reviews, conferences, and industry events.

About you:

  • 4-year Bachelors’ degree or related industry experience
  • Working knowledge of CRM or Salesforce
  • Preferred- upselling and retention experience
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, high energy and a “can do” attitude balancing multiple tasks
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and results.
  • Strategic thinking with a data-driven approach to identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with confidence leading client meetings, webinars, and business reviews.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver client success.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and think on your feet.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed.
