Foodservice Buyer

Vianen, Utrecht - NL

We are seeking an experienced Foodservice Buyer to lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations across a portfolio of foodservice and hospitality clients. In this role, you will identify purchasing opportunities, run tender processes, negotiate supplier agreements, and develop procurement strategies that deliver measurable cost savings and value. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to analyze spend, consolidate suppliers, and build customized purchasing programs. The role combines consultative procurement and hands-on negotiation, requiring strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong negotiator who understands the foodservice industry and can drive better deals for clients.

One of our key partners is Victoria Trading, the largest specialized purchasing cooperative within foodservice and hospitality. Victoria Trading represents the interests of eight leading players and bundles a purchasing volume of many hundreds of millions of euros. Our ambition is to be and remain the most progressive purchasing platform, and you can play a crucial role in this. Real Result is the independent purchasing agency that supports Victoria Trading's entire procurement team. A dedicated core team from Real Result is responsible for all of Victoria Trading's purchasing activities. You can be part of this team, coordinating and guiding projects together with specialized category buyers from the Victoria Trading members. You will directly contribute to achieving savings and creating value in ways that would not be individually achievable, with a focus on sustainable returns. Together with Victoria Trading, we challenge the industry to innovate in quality, packaging, and sustainability, and to shorten and make the supply chain more sustainable.  

This a hybrid role based out of our Vianen, Utrecht (NL) office.  We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

At Real Result, we are the independent purchasing experts for the dynamic foodservice industry. We help our clients maximize their procurement, whether it's through volume discounts, purchasing optimization, real-time cost price insights, or the realization of commercial kitchens and bars. Since 2025, Real Result has been part of Buyer Edge Platform, a digital procurement network/software platform for the foodservice industry that connects operators, distributors, and manufacturers. The platform offers group purchasing services, SaaS-based technology solutions, and supply chain consulting and procurement-related services to foodservice parties with the aim of reducing costs and improving supply chain decisions through data-driven technology. As a Buyer at Real Result, you are the linchpin in strategic purchasing processes. You work closely with various leading players in the sector, from hospitality to catering and from Leisure to on-the-move. Our client base is diverse and impressive. Think of names like Ron Blaauw, Perfect Serve, Albron, Beerze Bulten, Vue Cinemas, Koninklijk Theater Carré, and many others.

Your impact:
  • At Real Result and within projects for clients like Victoria Trading, you will focus on the core questions of purchasing: What does the purchasing assignment entail and what requirements must a supplier meet? Why is collaboration with this supplier interesting and what challenge does it offer our clients? 
  • You will not work with standard deals, but will realize customized agreements that make sense. 
  • You will share knowledge and network within the purchasing team.
  • You will be jointly responsible for achieving sustainable purchasing results through, among other things, volume advantages and purchasing optimization.

  • You are target-group oriented and know what the customer is looking for.
  • You have a personal touch and address your conversation partners directly.
