Summary:
The Vice President, Strategic Marketing will lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies that drive brand growth, market share, and long-term business success. The Vice President will be a
strategic visionary and leader of marketing who will contribute to the future of Buzz Integrations’ success. This executive will work cross-functionally with leadership, sales, product, customer operations, and account management teams to shape market positioning and demand generation across all channels. This individual will be a significant key contributor to the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) focus within an Enterprise
Performance Management framework.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following, as other strategic projects may be assigned.
Strategy Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, including market segmentation, competitive analysis, and brand positioning.
Brand & Messaging: Refine and elevate brand messaging to ensure clarity, consistency, and differentiation in the marketplace. Drive campaign strategies to win new and retain existing business.
Leverage the use of a customer relationship management system for campaign management and analytics. Communicate brand and messaging through multiple channels to include trade shows, direct
marketing, and/or digital marketing.
Market Intelligence: Lead market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions. It will be imperative that the competitor intelligence information is continuously
updated, databased, and trended. Additionally, customer/client market demands, as well as demands/desires of the member/patient are captured and analyzed to support SWOT assessments, strategic initiatives planning, and continuous quality improvement implementations.
Growth & Demand Generation: Oversee campaigns and initiatives designed to generate demand, drive pipeline growth, and improve customer acquisition and retention. Create top-of-mind campaigns that
continuously highlight the Buzz Integrations brand, and the value add of its products and services in support of GTM and client retention activities.
Marketing Product/Artifacts: Coordinates for the creation of effective marketing collateral that meet specific campaigns, client/patient messages, and the overarching Buzz Integrations brand.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing strategic marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.
Partnerships & GTM Alignment: Collaborate with product/product operations, sales, and account management to align go-to-market (GTM) strategies and maximize impact.
Budget Management: Own the strategic marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and clear ROI tracking.
Digital Transformation: Drive the integration of appropriate digital marketing, automation, and analytics to enhance customer engagement and performance measurement.
Continuous Quality Improvement: Incrementally identify implement opportunities to enhance efficiencies, execution effectiveness, and optimize cost management to continuously focus on marketing’s
value to the enterprise. Continuously refine monitoring, ticketing, and reporting processes to improve team efficiency. Enhance project delivery by introducing best practices for Agile and technical project management. Perform post-mortem reviews of major marketing activities for lessons learned.
Culture: Facilitate programs to foster the Buzz Integrations culture and ensures that the culture is recognized as a competitive advantage.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, test results, and audit evidence. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, KPIs, and technical metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
● 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
● 2 years of previous sales experience
● Proven track record of building and executing successful strategic marketing plans in B2B, B2C, or B2B2C environments.
● Exceptional analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
● Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
● Experience with CRM, marketing automation tools, and performance analytics platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in healthcare, Pharmacy Benefits Management, or related industry.
● Data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and customer focus.
Working Hours
This is an exempt level position requiring one to work the hours needed to get the job done. Therefore, one must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays
as required. This may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Travel
This position may require domestic travel as well as attendance at various local conferences and meetings.
