2026 Summer Analyst Position Details
Analysts are often the first touchpoint startup founders have with Bessemer. This role requires an enterprising spirit, empathy, and a deep understanding of what makes a business work at its core.

Employment Type: Short Term, Full-time Employee
Location: On-site, New York City, NY
Duration: 10 weeks (June 8th, 2026 - August 14th, 2026)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (in the office)

A Day in the Life
Your daily responsibilities will include sourcing new investment opportunities, conducting in-depth research for due diligence, and contributing to the deal-making process. You’ll collaborate closely with BVP team members to help our portfolio companies grow and succeed. The skills and experience you gain in this program will be foundational to your career. Whether you continue at Bessemer or elsewhere, your BVP analyst experience will be invaluable, opening up numerous opportunities.

Throughout the summer, Analysts will:
● Interact with 100+ CEOs to identify seed-stage to Series C startups across a wide range of industries—from consumer internet and e-commerce to mobile, cloud computing, business software, healthcare, and cleantech.
● Work directly with firm partners to conduct due diligence on promising investment opportunities and help shape new investment strategies.
● Gain expertise in identifying emerging sectors and business opportunities, developing a deep understanding of various business models, and building a robust network of entrepreneurs, investors, and VC colleagues.

Intern Qualifications / Skills
● Deep curiosity about technology, societal trends, and entrepreneurship
● Demonstrated leadership, both on campus and beyond
● Exceptional communication and persuasive abilities
● Strong problem-solving skills and determination
● A solid understanding of fundamental business principles

Education & Experience
● College students expecting to graduate in Winter 2026 or Summer 2027
● Open to all majors or fields of study, provided there is a strong academic record
● College students graduating in Winter 2027 or later are not eligible and should apply for the summer 2027 internship
