BW Gestão de Investimentos (“BWGI”), is a subsidiary of Brasil Warrant S.A. (“BWSA”), a proprietary capital manager responsible for managing investment funds incorporated in Brazil and abroad.

BWSA is an investment holding company that operates in the banking, agricultural, mining, consumer and infrastructure sectors through companies such as Itaú Unibanco, Alpargatas and Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração (“CBMM”).

BWSA also acts as a family office, managing the financial and commercial interests of the individuals controlling the Holding.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical Fundamental Generalist to be the Senior Analyst on our Equities team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in close partnership with a Fundamental Equity Portfolio Manager in a high alpha concentrated portfolio and with the trading team to translate research insights into actionable positions.

The ideal candidate will have strong fundamental research capabilities, and the ability to independently generate and defend investment ideas. This role is high-impact and combines deep-dive company analysis, investment thesis development, and close collaboration with trading and portfolio decision-makers. The expectation is for this person to bring original insights, evaluate market/regulatory shifts and proactively pitch ideas backed by rigorous analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent, in-depth fundamental research on companies in a wide variety of sectors, including Technology (Software, Payments & Semiconductors), Healthcare, Industrials, Financials and Consumer.
• Originate investment ideas with differentiated micro perspectives and commercial judgment.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, with analytical rigor and minimal oversight.
• Synthesize insights from expert calls, regulatory filings, field research, and industry data.
• Develop and maintain an actionable coverage list and track key sector dynamics.
• Present stock pitches with clear valuation frameworks, catalysts, and risk/reward views.
• Collaborate closely with a trader to refine trade execution, timing, and sizing.
• Help bridge idea generation and execution, accelerating the firm’s investment process.
• Participate in management meetings, conferences, and ongoing diligence.
• Support a proactive, high-conviction investment culture.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 5–10 years of total experience, including:
• 2+ years of experience in equity research (buy side or sell side).
• Broader background in investment banking, equity research, or strategy roles related to financial services.
• Experience with pitching investment cases, preferably in a sell side or buy side setting.
• Demonstrated capability to independently originate and structure investment theses.
• Proficient in analyzing financial institutions, capital adequacy, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong technical modeling, research, and presentation skills.
• Ability to focus and dedicate 3-4 weeks performing a deep dive in a specific company or sector
