SUMMARY

Parts Associates will be responsible for all parts ordering and tracking, collecting and processing Parts Requests, as well as collecting daily Service Reports for warranty

purposes.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Process parts orders (pick, pack, and ship).
  • Create shipping labels and schedule pick-up from carriers.
  • Receive and put away parts.
  • Process spare parts return.
  • Find the correct P/A of the parts that customers need. (serial/model number of BYD forklift/chargers).
  • Read, reply, and follow up with customers’ parts request.
  • Sum up the parts issues and report.
  • Gather information to solve the reported customer problems.
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs of parts.
  • Generate audit and cycle count reports and help with cycle counts and investigations.
  • Submit request for shipping supplies.
  • Update backorder report with updated information.
  • Create and process invoices (generating sales orders and outbound numbers) for customers and manage spare parts in SAP/Access.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of (3) years of experience in warehouse within related or relevant industry.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory systems.
  • Capable of lifting heavy items up to 40 lbs. and performing physical tasks as needed
  • Safely maneuver the forklift to transport materials within the warehouse. Such as load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and storage areas.
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative, a strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurately
  • Experience in ERP or WMS system is a huge plus

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Bachelor’s degree or above.

Hiring Range

$18- $23 per hour

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
