Role overview:

BYOMA is looking for a highly organized, analytical, and proactive marketer with a passion for brand building, consumer insights, and integrated marketing.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Strategy & Go-To-Market, the Marketing Assistant, Brand Strategy will support the planning, execution, reporting, and operational management of North America marketing initiatives. This role will play a key part in helping drive marketing excellence across campaign planning, business reporting, go-to-market execution, retailer initiatives, and cross-functional project management.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a passion for brand building and consumer behavior. This role offers broad exposure across brand strategy, go-to-market planning, consumer insights, retailer marketing, and integrated campaign development, making it an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketer to build a strong foundation within a high-growth beauty brand.

Salary: $68,000 + bonus 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Support development of North America marketing plans across innovation launches, hero campaigns, retailer priorities, and key business initiatives.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of the North America marketing calendar.
  • Support cross-functional planning and project management across key marketing initiatives.
  • Help ensure alignment across campaigns, launches, retailer moments, and commercial priorities.

Go-To-Market Support

  • Support execution of go-to-market plans across innovation launches and key business initiatives.
  • Assist with development of launch materials, timelines, trackers, and planning documents.
  • Coordinate cross-functional deliverables and project timelines.
  • Support launch readiness and execution across marketing initiatives.

Reporting, Insights & Analytics

  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting.
  • Assist with KPI tracking, campaign reporting, and performance recaps.
  • Analyze marketing performance, consumer trends, competitive activity, and category insights.
  • Help translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards, trackers, and business performance documents.

Commercial & Retail Support

  • Support development of retailer-specific marketing plans and activation materials.
  • Assist with tracking retailer performance, launches, and key commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor category, consumer, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support development of presentations and business updates for internal stakeholders.

Budget & Operations

  • Support management of marketing budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking tools.
  • Assist with agency onboarding, vendor management, and operational processes.
  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, and planning tools.
  • Support efficient execution across the North America Marketing team.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Consumer Engagement, Sales, Global HQ, HCP, Creative, and Commercial teams.
  • Support coordination of integrated marketing initiatives across multiple functions.
  • Help ensure strong communication, alignment, and execution across projects.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and high-performing team culture.

 

Requirements: 

  • Internship experience or up to 2 years of experience in marketing, brand marketing, social media, communications, business, or related fields.
  • Beauty, skincare, wellness, lifestyle, consumer, retail, or agency experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting marketing, brand, consumer engagement, or business initiatives preferred.
  • Recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms.
  • Passion for creator culture, social media, and digital trends.
  • Experience creating, editing, and publishing social content.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and interest in consumer insights, marketing performance, and business analytics.
  • Proficiency with social content creation, editing, publishing, and reporting tools.
