
Part-Time Thrift Shop Retail Assistant

Under the supervision of the Retail Operation Manager or Retail Manager, the Thrift Shop Retail Assistant will assist with assigned duties of Thrift Store operations to contribute to the organization’s mission and goals in accordance with agency policies, applicable laws, and regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Performing the opening and closing of the store according to procedures.
- Cashiering: Handling sales transactions, answering customer’s questions or directing them to the proper Manager, assisting volunteers working the register, wrapping, and packaging sold items.
- Distributing all priced items to the sales floor and placing them in correct departments or merchandise by color/theme.
- Daily upkeep of the sales floor including color coordinating clothing, organization of racks and shelved merchandise and end of day housekeeping (spritzing, vacuuming, sweeping, garbage).
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or 2 year’s equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years retail sales experience, preferably in resale or thrift settings.
Pay Range:
$21.00 - $24.00 hourly
