
Senior HR Director

We are seeking a mission-driven, strategic Senior Director of Human Resources to lead and elevate the people strategy across our hospice and home health agencies serving the Bay Area. This senior leader will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. This role will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership and will guide a high-performing HR team that aligns with our organizational values and commitment to excellent patient care. Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm
Location:
Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite
Larkspur office on Wednesdays, required. Okay to work from Pleasanton or San Mateo offices on alternate days.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational goals; oversee and communicate any HR policies changes as necessary.
- Oversee the recruitment process for all positions, working closely with clinical leadership to fill open positions related to care delivery.
- Develop recruitment and retention strategy to attract top talent and maintain consistent pipeline and minimize attrition rates where feasible.
- Develop and implement learning and development initiatives to build employee capabilities and support career advancement; create and facilitate ethics and compliance training programs in collaboration with education and compliance teams.
- Address concerns in the workforce and foster a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resource Management or related field from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree desirable
- Minimum five years’ experience in a health care environment, required. Hospice or home health care operations, preferred
- Working knowledge of local, state, federal and The Joint Commission regulations relating to employment
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- SPHR certificate highly desirable
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car
Pay Range:
$160K - $220K annually
