Technical Project Manager

Ready to make project magic happen? As our Project Manager, you’ll take the reins on customer projects within our PMO and Professional Services team. We’re on the lookout for an IT-savvy, results-driven performer who can turn goals into action and inspire teams along the way. With your sharp communication skills and knack for coordination, you’ll guide projects to successful completion - on time, within budget, and while delighting clients every step of the way. What You'll Do

  • Develop detailed project plans, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks and resources, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects within agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and control project risks and issues, developing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a security-first mindset within the project team, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Mentor and support Project Coordinators, contributing to their professional development and growth within the organization.
  • Communicate project progress and status effectively to all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in project management processes and methodologies, sharing best practices within the PM team.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Contribute to increasing project profitability by optimizing resource allocation, reducing rework, and streamlining processes.

  • A security-first mindset, with an understanding of the importance of data security and compliance in IT projects.
  • Demonstrated the value of practicing empathy in human interactions, including customers, co-workers, competitors, and vendors.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solutions
  • Veteran preferred

This a remote position with minimal travel.
