C3 AI is hiring a Senior Director, Strategic Solutions for our Homeland Security and Federal Law Enforcement Sector. This is a quota-based sales opportunity with a rapidly growing leader in Enterprise AI software. As a Senior Director, Strategic Solutions, you will work directly with C-level customers and partners in the federal government to define high-value AI use cases and develop AI application roadmaps. Your role will focus on driving adoption of our solutions while helping federal agencies achieve their digital transformation goals.

Candidates should be able to understand the complexities at the intersection of federal agency missions and technology to effectively communicate about it both internally and externally. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, highly collaborative environment and demonstrate an ability to execute precisely and quickly. Candidates should possess technical fluency in AI, machine learning, cyber, big data and analytics, business intelligence, cloud technology stack(s), and SaaS solution selling.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Experience in focused activities to achieve / exceed assigned sales quota.
  • Build and maintain enterprise-level customer relationships through prospecting and identifying new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting federal law enforcement agencies, departments, and prime contractors.
  • Consult with federal agencies to define and implement digital transformation strategies using AI technologies.
  • Forecast and maintain a robust pipeline to achieve business unit goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (business development, engineering, products, and marketing) to develop and deliver tailored solutions for customer needs.
  • Represent C3 AI in strategic partnerships and alliances to drive business development opportunities.
  • Engage in strategic selling and ensure ongoing customer success.
  • Travel up to 50% (or more) to customer sites based on business needs. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record in SaaS solution sales or extensive (10+ years) experience in federal law enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of the federal government procurement process, including contracting vehicles like GSA Schedules, GWACs, and IDIQs.
  • Deep knowledge of AI, machine learning, big data, analytics, and their applications in the government sector.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with senior-level decision-makers in federal law enforcement.
  • Technical fluency in AI, machine learning, cyber, and cloud technology stacks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, computer science, or a related technical field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to relocate to the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.
