Overall Function: 

 

A cabi Outlet Assistant Manager will leverage the power of relationships to build a strong base of repeat customers and cultivate a culture of growth and accountability in which employees can thrive. A cabi Outlet ASM will have a keen eye for fashion and a passion for business excellence.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Creates and provides a unique customer service experience
  • Actively clienteles
  • Assists in identifying high potential sales associates
  • Assists with the training and development of all new hires
  • Has ability to maintain data integrity
  • Assists maintaining accurate inventory management
  • Possesses the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Continually supports cabi core business
  • Maintains regular, reliable attendance
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Screens calls for executives.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 

Supervises key carriers and part-time sales associates, while assigned as the manager on duty. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the parent company’s (cabi) policies and applicable laws.

 

Pre-qualifications:

 

  • Proven working experience as a retail supervisor or assistant manager.
  • Good communication skills for communicating with staff and clients.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to utilize standard Microsoft programs (excel, outlook, word, etc)
  • Prior experience training, coaching, and counseling employees.
  • Experience in analyzing data to track sales & KPI performance.

  • Computer Skills: Good knowledge and understanding with computer peripheral, advanced software applications with Word, Excel, and other related software applications.
  • Ethics: Treats people with respect
  • Organizational Support: Follows policies and procedures.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

 

Education and /or Experience:

 

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience required.
