Stockroom Assistant 1

Position Summary:
The Stockroom Assistant 1 is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the stockroom, including stocking and distribution of inventory and supplies, fulfillment of orders, counting, processing, inspecting, replenishing, locating, and distributing inventory.

The Stockroom Assistant 1 is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the stockroom, including stocking and distribution of inventory and supplies, fulfillment of orders, counting, processing, inspecting, replenishing, locating, and distributing inventory.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Perform order picking for the accurate fulfillment of parts requests, following documented processes and instructions; Communicate with Production, Procurement, and Sales Support departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Perform stocking and allocation duties of inventory and supplies
- Perform quality assurance inspection on orders
- Assist with material handling as needed, including investigating material problems, and inventory control issues
- Support incoming receiving and receipt inspection, and shipping as needed
- Participate in daily cycle count activities
- Perform bench processes following documented specifications to complete assembly of assigned Cadwell accessories and sub-assemblies, using hand tools and electronic tooling
- Critical success factors include accuracy, timely completion of tasks, following instructions
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training preferred
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred; Understanding of ERP systems a plus
Job Knowledge / Requirements:
- Must develop thorough knowledge of Stockroom basics, including interpret packing lists, pull orders accurately, fill inventory kits, use of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
- Basic knowledge of stockroom equipment, including use of hand truck and pallet jack
- Basic skills for electronic assemblies, such as hand soldering, wire crimping, basic hand tool usage, use of appropriate electronic instrumentation inspection, and part number interpretation; read and interpret assembly drawings
- Basic competency in computer skills: MS Office (MS Word, Excel) and Google applications, and database systems
- Accurately and timely data entry; Quality and productivity standards are critical requirements of the position
- Good oral and written communication skills, including receiving, understanding and following oral and written instructions, information, procedures and schematics
- Complete tasks as directed with minimal supervision, with precision and within defined schedule
- Work both independently and as an effective member of the team
- Critical success factors include attention to detail, receive and follow instructions and assignments, and meet given priorities and deadlines
- Must develop knowledge of Cadwell products, and their parts and assemblies

Salary Range
$18 - $21 USD
