Investment Research Coordinator

CAIS is seeking an Investment Research Coordinator to join the Investments team. This role supports and contributes to the strategic goals and operational workflows and of the manager selection team to support our growing alternative investment marketplace, including supporting the team with a wide range of research and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate has foundational experience in investment research or financial markets, with a strong interest in alternative investments and a collaborative mindset. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Primary Objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party research partners to maintain timely delivery of launching investment products on the CAIS platform.
- Coordinate and participate in due diligence activities, including organizing calls and meetings with portfolio management teams, gathering fund documentation, and preparing preparation and follow up deliverables.
- Maintain the research and onboarding database, ensuring detailed and accurate tracking of key processes.
- Development and delivery of reporting of Key Performance Indicators for transparent communications across the organization and to senior management.
- Support team initiatives to identify and implement best practices in manager research and due diligence.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for internal and external meetings, ensuring all necessary documents and information are available.
- Draft performance updates and reports for alternative investment products available on the CAIS platform.
- Coordination of team meetings and deliverables.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in financial markets, investment research, or asset management, with exposure to alternative investments products.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and met key deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively both verbally as well as through prepared presentations to senior management.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members across the organization.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience with research tools and databases is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
