The firm is seeking an Investments Research Assistant to support the Investments team with a wide range of research and administrative tasks. The ideal candidates for this role will be resourceful, organized, and possess a high level of attention to detail. Given the role’s exposure, the ideal candidate also will have refined interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities 

  • Maintain complex and detailed calendars for the team
  • Coordinate and manage both internal and external meetings
  • Create and format PowerPoint presentations and proposals for meetings and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings, ensuring all necessary documents and information are available
  • Arrange and oversee intricate domestic and international travel plans
  • Organize all facets of offsite conferences and external events
  • Process invoices and T&E expense claims for team members, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with the administrative assistants team to ensure seamless support and operations 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Experience in the finance industry or with alternative investments
  • Demonstrated experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and proposals
  • Experience with meeting preparation and coordination

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
