Event Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and goal-oriented Event Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event operations, project management, and a strong proficiency with the event management platform, Cvent. This individual will play a key role in managing event logistics, coordinating training sessions, and supporting strategic meeting initiatives. This role may be required to work outside of regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Platform Management:
- Serve as the primary administrator for Cvent, ensuring the account is up-to-date
- Create, maintain and execute event and email templates in Cvent to be used by sales teams across the organization
- Take a lead role in creating, reviewing, and updating all event-related communications, including invitations, reminders and post-event follow-ups. Ensure all communications align with the event's goals, branding guidelines, and audience needs.
- Develop top-tier event websites, registration portals, and mobile apps for seamless attendee event experiences.
Event Operations:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of project plans, standard post-event surveys, and self-service toolkits for the proprietary events that CAIS is hosting.
- Manage the event invoice process, including tracking, processing, and reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate payments. Facilitate corporate credit card usage for event-related expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a SharePoint sites to provide resources and communicate updates to internal teams.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in a marketing event operations role.
- Proficient in Cvent event technology.
- Exceptional attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
- Strong project management and decision-making abilities, including ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions at moment’s notice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong reporting and analytics skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related discipline preferred.
