Marketing Associate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Marketing Associate to help drive the growth and evolution of the CAIS Advisors brand and business. In this role, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance engagement with financial advisors and asset managers. You will gain deep expertise in alternative investments while translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Distribution, Investments, and Legal & Compliance teams, developing subject matter expertise and ensuring marketing efforts align with business objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate with the broader CAIS Marketing team to create and execute campaigns that amplify CAIS’ impact in the alternative investment space.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement tailored product marketing strategies to support the launch and positioning of alternative investment solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine messaging and improve advisor engagement.
- Maintain and update marketing strategy documents to ensure alignment with evolving business objectives.
Marketing Content & Campaigns
- Create and manage marketing collateral, including fund-related announcements, campaign materials, and educational content for advisors.
- Support the development of webinar and video scripts, ensuring messaging aligns with CAIS’ brand and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute digital marketing campaigns, leveraging email, social media, and other distribution channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Distribution, Investments, and Legal & Compliance teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with product and regulatory strategy and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to streamline content development, approvals, and distribution.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party asset managers to facilitate marketing collaboration.
- Serve as a liaison between marketing and key internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a relevant field
- 3+ years of product marketing or segment marketing preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential with familiarity with the financial services industry, and a willingness to gain a clear understanding of industry terms and prevailing trends as well as the operations business
- Knowledge and experience marketing alternative investments and knowledge of alternative asset classes and the alternative investment ecosystem, including pre-trade, trade and post-trade
- Understanding of independent wealth management space preferred
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, best practices, and content standards
- Experience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
