Partner Relationship Manager – Fund Managers and Administrators, Vice President

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Platform Solutions & Operations team. This high-impact role involves managing key partner relationships, providing white-glove service, and driving partner success across all transaction phases. Responsibilities:
Partner Relationship Management and Support
- Cultivate and deepen partner relationships, individually and with team collaboration.
- Ensure partner satisfaction by identifying needs, offering value-added feedback, and delivering exceptional service.
- Serve as the primary contact for high-priority partner requests and initiatives, ensuring adherence to service-level expectations.
- Proactively communicate relationship and project updates to internal stakeholders and document interactions for alignment.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Build strong relationships across CAIS lines of business partnering to improve pre-trade, trade, and post-trade processing, resolve issues, and implement integrations and best practices.
- Serve as the primary expert on partner operating model, integration, and nuances related to partner workflows and relationships with firms and other partners.
- Collaborate with internal and external project managers to implement strategies, resolve issues, and meet partner needs.
Platform and Product Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of the CAIS platform, investment products, and services to guide adoption and provide partner support.
- Communicate CAIS value including platform's capabilities, operational efficiencies, technology integrations, and benefits to drive revenue growth.
- Support the rollout of platform enhancements, ensuring partner-directed documentation, communication, and effective training and integration if required
- Conduct platform demonstrations and highlight new features for clients
Process Improvement and Operations Management
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance partner experience.
- Monitor partner integration adoption and usage activity; providing reporting to partners as needed including insights to drive improvements
- Oversee integration support requests during testing and post-launch to ensure partner satisfaction and internal viability.
Project and Resource Management
- Plan, manage, and execute projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
- Scope and define business requirements, translating them into technical, process, and resource needs.
- Monitor project risks, escalate constraints, and develop mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
- Maintain project tracking tools and resources, including Confluence, SharePoint, and Airtable.
- Provide executive-level updates and concise reporting.
Sales and Business Development Support
- Support business development by engaging with clients and participating in pre-sales activities.
- Partner with internal teams to secure new opportunities and provide domain expertise during client discussions.
- Develop sales-oriented materials including consulting on the art of possible, how CAIS interfaces work, workflow best practices and definition of the best fit solution based on joint priorities
Knowledge Building and Strategic Insight
- Stay informed on firm initiatives, platform growth, and industry trends to offer expert guidance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for partner integration, onboarding and ongoing servicing capabilities.
- Contribute to creating training materials, user guides, and case studies for partner success stories.
- Network across functions and adapt communication to align with firm-wide objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of client service, project management, or fund operations experience at a fund or financial services firm
- Experience in alternative investments required
- Strong understanding and experience with administrators, TA's, custodians
- Solid understanding of systems integration in the financial services ecosystem
- Strong relationship management orientation with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exemplary oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized, motivated, able to work independently
- FINRA Registrations Series 7, 63 nice to have

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
