Job Intro
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Mid./Sr. Visual Designer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining brand consistency across both digital and physical platforms, working closely with marketing, business, and product teams to deliver impactful visual designs that resonate with audiences.
Responsibilities
- Execute design tasks that align with Cake’s visual guidelines and design system, ensuring a cohesive brand image across all channels.
- Work closely with marketing, business, and product teams to meet various visual design needs for both digital and physical materials.
- Propose and lead innovative visual design strategies, from branding projects to optimizing market-specific design tactics.
- Collaborate with the visual design team and cross-functional departments to ensure deadlines, resource allocation, and task prioritization are met. Recruit and manage external freelance teams.
- Work with key stakeholders to establish internal visual design processes and guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on visual design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, AE, InDesign) or other design tools.
- Expertise in creating diverse visual content, especially for social media.
- Ability to design with visual hierarchy to ensure great conversion rates.
- Goal-oriented design approach, with a focus on market needs and agile responsiveness. For example, optimizing design through strategic A/B testing.
- Project management skills — capable of setting goals, tracking progress, and collaborating effectively with cross-team stakeholders.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience managing outsourcing resources.
- Experience in Motion or 3D design.
- Experience in designing printed materials and working with external vendors.
