Moving forward, as the number and diversity of events increase, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager, Government & Social Impact to expand collaboration opportunities with public institutions and make a greater impact on our community.

 

Responsibilities

1. Government Procurement (Tender) Research and Proposal Writing

  • Analyze government procurement requirements and craft innovative, actionable project proposals to enhance bidding success rates.
  • Coordinate internal resources and integrate team input to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals.
  • Develop budgets, monitor project costs, and calculate project benefits.

2. Project Progress Management and Execution

  • Create project timelines and execution plans for awarded tenders, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between internal (e.g., marketing, design) and external teams to achieve project goals.

3. Government and Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, foundations, and other strategic partners.
  • Attend relevant meetings and events regularly to foster collaboration opportunities and enhance Cake’s brand image.
  • Address public sector requirements and represent Cake in various settings through project presentations and proposals.

4. Government Subsidy Application and Management

  • Conduct in-depth research on government funding / subsidy programs and policies to identify opportunities aligned with Cake’s goals.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality application documents to secure funding successfully.
  • Regularly track project progress and deliverables, ensuring compliance with regulations and expectations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

1. Core Competencies

  • Proficiency in writing project proposals with clear logic and excellent articulation skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities to maintain and expand collaborative relationships.
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to create timelines and oversee execution details effectively.
  • Adept at using digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Chat GPT, etc.).
  • Basic business English proficiency for email and meeting communication.

2. Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Public Administration, Business Management, Law, or related fields.

3. Work Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in project management or event planning.

4. Personal Traits

  • Proactive and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Highly responsible, with great attention to detail and results.
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with different departments to overcome challenges.

 

Bonus Qualifications

  • Over 1 year of experience in applying for government funding, writing tenders, or maintaining government relations.
  • Familiarity with the application and execution processes of government tenders, with some understanding of youth career policies and employment-related topics.
  • Knowledge of government procurement laws or related certifications.
  • Successful experience in applying for large-scale government funding or executing tender projects.
  • Familiarity with youth career development programs or related initiatives.
