Country Sales Manager (Pulp and Paper solutions)

COMPANY PROFILE: Cake Global Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a top supplier of solutions for pulp & paper manufacturers.

LOCATION: Vietnam or Malaysia

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve sales excellence by driving mill sales across a full range of business offerings through collaboration with Business Unit, Sales, and Sales Support teams.
  • Increase sales volume and customer excellence by adopting a result-driven approach to provide solutions for existing and prospective Chinese customers.
  • Maintain systematic and well-monitored customer contacts and relations to ensure consistent engagement and satisfaction.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and plans by proposing and executing sales budgets, forecasts, planning, and action plans upon approval.
  • Ensure financial success by maintaining Profit & Loss accountability for sold projects and ensuring the completion of invoicing.
  • Guarantee compliance with legal, business codes of conduct, and other business requirements to maintain integrity and trust.
  • Enhance sales and profits by collaborating with all business units/lines to influence customers and encourage team excellence through Must-Wins and corporate guidelines and policies.
  • Drive business growth and a collaborative culture by working closely with the Head of Sales (Chinese customers) and fostering a learning attitude.
  • Ensure high-level professionalism in service delivery by maintaining quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote continuous development and learning within the team to sustain growth and innovation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  •   Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the pulp & paper manufacturing industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate in Chinese and English is required to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  •   Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience relating to pulp & paper manufacturing or similar, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  •   Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and close deals.
  •   Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, and financial forecasting to ensure financial success of projects.
  •   Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with legal and business codes of conduct, as well as other compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
  •   Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various business units and teams.
  •   Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions to customers and drive sales excellence.
  •   Professionalism: High level of professionalism, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  •   Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous development and learning, with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
  •   Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
