MANAGER OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING
Ha Noi, Viet Nam
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans for the year/quarter/month; monitor and adjust the budget; assess and manage financial risks; provide advice to the General Director.
- Financial Control: Manage cash flow, revenue, and expenditure plans; coordinate the company’s credit activities; optimize the use of financial resources and USD from exports.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annually); monitor profit margins and revenue; analyze financial ratios and cost structures.
- Financial Accounting System Management: Develop and improve the financial-accounting management system; ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial activities.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and analyze management reports including revenue, profit and loss, inventory, cost of goods sold, expenses, receivables, cash flow, and assets; propose necessary adjustments and solutions.
- Asset Control: Oversee the purchase, sale, and inventory of assets; conduct periodic and ad hoc asset counts; propose solutions for any issues.
- Department Management: Organize, recruit, train, assign tasks, and evaluate the performance of the Finance - Accounting Department staff.
- Regulations and Procedures Development: Develop and draft regulations, procedures, and policies related to finance and accounting.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with R&D and Production departments to control production costs and adjust cost standards.
- Legal Compliance: Update and comply with legal regulations related to finance, accounting, and taxation; advise and guide proper documentation and compliance.
- Tax and Related Issues: Handle tax-related matters with authorities, resolve tax settlement issues, and organize export tax refunds when conditions are met.
- Partnership Relations: Build and maintain relationships with banks, partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Other Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Auditing.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing company; preference for experience in both manufacturing and export, and experience with tax refunds and ERP software.
- Skills:
- Management and development of personnel.
- Planning, organizing, and supervising work.
- Effective communication, including listening, conveying information, persuasion, and negotiation.
- Problem-solving, research, analysis, synthesis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and office applications.
- Personal Qualities: Honesty, attention to detail, high responsibility, proactive, dynamic thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
