(Furniture) International Sales Manager

COMPANY PROFILE: Executive recruitment specialist company - Cake Global Consulting is recruiting on behalf of our clients in the furniture industry.

LOCATION: North of Vietnam 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set and propose long-term and short-term business goals by developing comprehensive business plans for the entire wholesale channel.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives by creating and proposing business strategies tailored to specific periods.
  • Drive market research and customer analysis to propose product improvements and develop new products that align with trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and propose effective sales policies including pricing, discounts, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and control the sales process by building and implementing processes for sales, customer care, and complaint resolution.
  • Optimize team performance by organizing, managing, and leading the wholesale sales team, including recruitment, training, and development; setting KPIs, controlling work, and conducting evaluations; proposing reward, discipline, and promotion decisions in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of orders, promptly handling issues to meet deadlines, processes, and customer contract commitments.
  • Drive customer relationship management by setting goals for customer acquisition, development, and retention, while ensuring strict control and confidentiality of customer and product data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies by overseeing customer transactions, documents such as PIs, POs, and contracts, adhering to regulations, procedures, and policies.
  • Lead and control marketing and communication activities by implementing brand promotion according to company processes and policies.
  • Systematize and enhance departmental processes by building, improving, and formalizing work processes, guidelines, and training materials.
  • Serve as the communication bridge by disseminating company announcements, regulations, policies, and culture to team members.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on business performance or ad-hoc reports as requested by the Board of Directors.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the Board of Directors to support overall business objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, International Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions, with minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales management, wholesale operations, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing international business strategies and plans.
  • Experience in expanding markets in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East.
  • Experience in managing a sales team, including training, and performance management.
  • Strong experience in market research, customer analysis, and developing product improvement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle customer relationships, manage data confidentiality, and oversee the end-to-end sales process.
  • Familiarity with marketing, brand promotion, and communication activities.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities to align business strategies with company objectives.
  • Analytical skills to conduct market research, customer analysis, and propose product enhancements based on trends and demand.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in managing sales processes, handling customer issues, and coordinating with different departments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

Languages:

  • Fluency in Vietnamese is required. Proficiency in English is a plus for reporting and communication with international stakeholders.
