Director of Business Development (Garment - Footwear Accessories)

COMPANY PROFILE: Executive recruitment specialist company - Cake Global Consulting is recruiting on behalf of our clients in Garment - Footwear Accessories manufacturing industry.

LOCATION: Remotely / Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Head to drive business expansion in Vietnam. This role will involve working independently in the beginning, with the long-term goal of building and developing a sales team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the owner and HR Manager to create strategies, set up policies, and establish business procedures for sustained growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow the company's market share in Vietnam.
• Identify and establish relationships with potential customers, while maintaining and leveraging existing networks.
• Collaborate with the owner and HR Manager to build a new sales team, establish company policies, and set up business processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to sales staff, guiding them to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ensure smooth operations between the sales and administrative functions to support overall business growth.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure consistent growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
• Proven track record in business development and building teams within similar industries.
• Existing network of customers and relationships with key players in the industry.
• Ability to work independently, with a hands-on approach to building a business from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and customer needs.
• Fluency in Vietnamese; fair English skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and collaborate with senior management on business strategies.
