Factory Manager – Furniture

COMPANY PROFILE: Cake Global, an executive recruitment specialist, is hiring on behalf of a world-class furniture manufacturer.

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the entire production process of sofa and wooden furniture in the factory, ensuring high productivity, quality control, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing sofa furniture production in large-scale operations, with proficiency in English and/or Chinese.

Location: Dong Nai, Vietnam

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gaining a deep understanding of the operations, features, and techniques related to furniture product lines, including sofas and wooden furniture.
• Managing the entire production process in the furniture factory to ensure efficiency and quality control.
• Organizing, executing, and overseeing production to meet productivity, output, quality, and timelines in line with production plans.
• Identifying and implementing cost-effective solutions to optimize production costs.
• Managing and maintaining shop drawing records for production.
• Recognizing and addressing defects in leather surfaces and sofa frames and overseeing re-upholstering processes.
• Managing human resources within the workshop, ensuring compliance with company policies, labour management, asset management, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the factory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A background in interior engineering, particularly those related to industrial production, wooden furniture, and foam mattresses, is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing the sofa furniture segment, with a proven track record in a similar role at companies with 300+ employees.
• Proficiency in English and/or Chinese.
