BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (MANDARIN SPEAKING)

COMPANY PROFILE: Executive recruitment specialist company – Cake Global is recruiting on behalf of a reputable global CFD broker. They are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager fluent in Mandarin and English, with Cantonese as a plus, to support clients in China and expand its presence from the Malaysia office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for developing the China region, including converting leads into clients, establishing and managing business relationships with both new and existing partners.
  • Actively seek out trading professionals on social media, forums, blogs, and communities, aiming to engage them as clients or partners.
  • Identify and leverage the most effective local marketing channels to promote the company and its products.
  • Assist in onboarding trading clients, affiliates, IBs, and other partners while working closely with customer support to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and back-office teams to create relevant sales and marketing content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective partners and work to retain and reactivate clients and partners.
  • Negotiate partnership terms based on existing rebate structures and assist in monitoring affiliate and partner performance to meet KPIs.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis, providing valuable feedback to management.
  • Adhere to regulatory frameworks and company policies, maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Travel to conferences and business meetings as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the FX/CFD or online trading industry is highly preferred.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese is required, with fluent English. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience or connections in the region.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Management, Economics, Marketing, or related fields (Master’s degree is preferred).
  • Strong focus on client relationships, with excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate beneficial outcomes for both the company and clients.
  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and competitive, with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
