Company Overview:

Cake is partnering with a rapidly growing client to identify a meticulous and experienced Snr. Financial Accountant for their team. Our client operates in a fast-paced industry, and the team is scaling up quickly in the Asia-Pacific region. This person will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial operations of our client’s oversea business, working directly with the Finance team in the HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare financial statements (income, balance sheets, and cash flow).
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize financial software for advanced data analysis.

General Ledger & Reconciliation

  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

AR/AP & Reconciliation

  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
  • Regularly reconcile AR and AP accounts.

Inventory & Cost of Sales (COS)

  • Coordinate stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
  • Manage and calculate COS to enhance profitability.

Tax Compliance & Audit Support

  • Prepare tax returns and ensure adherence to local tax regulations.
  • Assist with audit preparations and provide required documentation.

SAP Setup & Process Improvement

  • Support SAP configuration and integration for accounting and finance functions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Present financial insights to management and stakeholders.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and tax experience.
  • Proficient in financial tools and software, with strong analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
