Sales Manager / Sales Director (Knitted Fabrics / Knitted Garments)

COMPANY PROFILE:

This is a senior leadership position with a focus on driving revenue growth in the USA and European markets for a leading knit garment manufacturer. As the Sales Director, you will oversee a dedicated team of over 10 professionals, leverage your deep industry expertise, and implement strategies to expand market share and enhance operational efficiency.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Market Growth and Strategy
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance sales performance in the USA and EU regions.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding market presence and client base.
  1. Sales and Merchandising Oversight
  • Oversee the execution of merchandising strategies, aligning production with buyer demands.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met while optimizing factory capacity for maximum efficiency.
  1. Supply Chain Coordination
  • Manage the entire order cycle, from planning to delivery, ensuring timely and effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, address supply chain challenges, and adjust strategies based on market trends.
  1. Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and vendors to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and propose improvements for increased productivity.
  1. Leadership and Team Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of 20, fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
  • Provide training and guidance to align team skills with company objectives and market demands.
  1. Performance Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and improve buyer engagement.
  • Present performance reports and actionable insights to the Board of Directors.
  • Take on other duties as assigned by senior management to support company growth and operational efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years in garment sales, with a focus on knitwear and international markets.
    • Proven track record in managing sales for USA and European regions.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of garment production processes, factory operations, and merchandising procedures.
    • Familiarity with trends in the Vietnamese garment sector.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Garment, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Leadership: Strong team management and development abilities.
    • Sales Strategy: Expertise in driving growth in international markets.
    • Relationship Building: Skilled in managing buyer and supplier partnerships.
    • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of USA/EU garment trends.
    • Communication: Fluent English for effective collaboration and negotiation.
