About the Team & Opportunity

Calendly is the scheduling automation platform trusted by millions to eliminate the back-and-forth of meeting coordination—and much more. Our centralized Analytics team empowers the business with actionable insights, structured data, and scalable systems. Within this team, the Reporting Analytics function plays a foundational role in building and maintaining the company’s source of truth for business metrics.

We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst, Reporting to design and deliver reporting that powers executive decision-making and business performance management. This role partners closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, Product, and other functions to deliver high-quality dashboards, recurring reviews (Weekly Business Digest, Monthly Business Review), and ad hoc analyses. The Senior Analyst is a critical contributor in scaling Calendly’s reporting ecosystem, ensuring accuracy and consistency in metrics, and surfacing the insights that keep stakeholders aligned.

What You’ll Do

As Senior Data Analyst, Reporting, you will:

  • Communicate performance clearly and effectively through dashboards, written summaries, and presentations tailored for executives and functional stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in Hex that serve as the official reporting suite, including inputs to the Weekly Business Digest (WBD), Monthly Business Review (MBR), Board materials, and company-wide performance dashboards.
  • Develop customized reporting solutions for channel and function owners (e.g., Sales, CX, Finance, Product), ensuring visibility into performance at the right level of detail.
  • Define, document, and uphold the gold standard of metric definitions across Calendly, ensuring consistency and trust in all official reporting used by stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers alike.
  • Own and evolve the semantic layer within the data warehouse, creating the foundation for reliable, scalable, and self-serve analytics.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and reliability, validating metrics and collaborating with Data Engineering to resolve data quality issues.
  • Automate manual workflows to increase reporting speed, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, CX, Product, and Operations to align on definitions and deliver consistent, actionable insights.
  • Occasionally support deep-dive analyses to provide additional context on performance drivers or trends.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with other analysts (Product, Growth, User Insights) to strengthen Calendly’s analytics community.

About You

You may be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Have 6+ years of hands-on analytics and reporting experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments.
  • Are highly proficient in SQL and experienced working with modern data warehouses (BigQuery preferred) and transformation tools (dbt).
  • Have expertise using Hex for building dashboards, reporting packages, and manual analysis.
  • Have experience defining semantic layers or centralized metric frameworks.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and data storytelling skills—able to make complex metrics and trends easy to understand for executives and function leaders.
  • Have high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and consistency in reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python/R) for analysis or automation.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue metrics (ARR, retention, funnel conversion, ACV).
  • Familiarity with data governance, KPI frameworks, and metric standardization.
  • Passion for data storytelling and stakeholder enablement.
  • Collaborative mindset and interest in contributing to a strong, unified analytics culture.
