JOB TITLE: Sales and Recruiting Leader
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director
DEPARTMENT: Sales & Recruiting (Subspecialties)
FLSA STATUS: Full-Time; Exempt
SUMMARY
The Sales and Recruiting Leader will lead a team of sales and recruiting professionals within their assigned profit center to meet sales and margin targets. They will implement sales strategies, provide coaching, and develop the team to improve overall performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Develop and implement business strategies to promote growth, profitability, and market share.
- Work with senior leadership to set performance goals and individual development plans, then execute those plans.
- Coach and train sales staff, helping to identify and recruit top talent for the team.
- Report on business performance and forecasts to leadership on a regular basis.
- Identify and support future leadership talent among the team members, assisting in their skill development.
- Hold team members accountable to performance expectations, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Communicate effectively and present information clearly to team members, clients, and leadership.
- Engage with clients and providers to ensure their needs are met and contracts are negotiated and approved.
- Participate in company events and customer conferences, as approved.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to align sales and operations, ensuring a top-tier experience for both internal and external customers.
- Foster a positive, innovative, and customer-focused team environment.
- Work with the marketing team to maximize resources for generating leads and maintaining ROI.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines, ensuring they are communicated to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in driving sales and recruiting results from start to finish.
- A strong record of success in sales and recruiting, as measured by revenue and profit growth, customer acquisition, and account retention.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 2-5 years of experience in a sales or recruiting role, with at least 4 direct reports. Experience in staffing, particularly locum staffing, is preferred.
- Strong ability to develop teams and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and inspire others.
- Excellent decision-making abilities, and the capability to prioritize competing demands.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision, resourceful in seeking out information and resources.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Team-oriented, patient, and calm under pressure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-driven environment.
- High ethical standards and strong business acumen.
- Experience with Salesforce or Target Recruit is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to various locations, as needed.
