The Role
California Autism Center is seeking an experienced and hands-on Recruitment Manager to lead and scale our talent acquisition efforts across multiple centers. This role is responsible for overseeing full-cycle recruiting, developing hiring strategies, and ensuring we attract and retain high-quality clinical and administrative talent.
This position plays a critical role in supporting CAC’s growth by building efficient, compliant, and scalable recruitment processes while partnering closely with clinical and operational leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across clinical and administrative roles (e.g., RBTs, BCBAs, administrative staff)
- Develop and execute hiring strategies to meet high-volume staffing needs across multiple locations
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines using diverse sourcing methods
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and develop recruitment team members, including recruiters and coordinators
- Set performance expectations, track KPIs, and drive accountability
- Partner with hiring managers to improve interview quality and hiring decisions
Operations & Process Improvement
- Design and implement scalable recruiting processes and SOPs
- Optimize ATS workflows and candidate experience
- Ensure timely communication and efficient hiring timelines
Data & Reporting
- Track and analyze key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, conversion rates, etc.)
- Use data insights to refine sourcing strategies and improve outcomes
Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure all hiring practices align with California labor laws and company policies
- Oversee background checks, credential verification, and onboarding coordination
- Promote equitable and non-discriminatory hiring practices
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
- Strong experience with full-cycle recruiting in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and recruiting tools
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws and hiring compliance
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA settings
- Experience recruiting for RBTs, BCBAs, or similar clinical roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
Full compensation package are based on candidate experience and certifications.
California pay range
$70,000 - $75,000 USD
