We’re continuing to build a world-class partnerships team and are looking for a multi-talented self-starter with ambition and hunger to manage projects across a multitude of partnerships, focusing on partnerships with exciting custom content.

We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, or Minneapolis areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered. 

 

Job Summary (What You’ll Do)

Calm has a wide range of consumer-facing partnerships across industries including telecoms, retailers, e-commerce, finance, sports, auto, consumer goods, and more. Partners are geographically spread from USA to Australia and we’re expanding with new partnerships all the time. Partnerships can include exclusive subscription offers, custom mindfulness content (such as Sleep Stories, meditations, music and soundscapes), marketing, events and more.

We are now seeking an experienced Partnerships Project Manager - Content to take responsibility for managing a range of complex content-focused partnership launches in coordination with our Strategic Partner Managers. You will focus on the content and marketing components of partnerships, working with our internal teams to plan, execute, and deliver a variety of content to partners. This includes all phases of content development and delivery. This role will also work directly with partners to manage expectations, reviews, and timelines.

Travel may be involved. You will report to the Head of Partner Success and work cross-functionally with other Calm teams (e.g. Content, Marketing, Product…). 

Responsibilities include:

  • Alongside Business Development Managers, participate in partnership scope exploration and definition, specifically related to content-focused components of partnerships
  • Alongside Strategic Partner Managers, participate in launching the content components of a variety of partnerships - including analyzing contractual deliverables, creating and managing workback plans, and scoping out schedule, budget, and timelines with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility of all content deliverables and assets for partnerships
  • Be the driving force behind executing content and asset deliverables with the partner to ensure that commitments are delivered on time, including translating partner visions into concrete deliverables for the content/marketing teams to deliver against
  • Establishing new internal processes and optimizing existing processes for partnership content and marketing production
  • Coordinate with other relevant departments across Calm’s business to drive win – win opportunities such as Content, Studios, Marketing, and more.

 

Skills and Qualifications (Who You Are)

  • Significant working experience within technology companies
  • Proven project management background
  • Experience in managing content deliverables
  • Keen sense for prioritization, both internally and externally with partners
  • A self-starter that isn’t afraid to step in when needed
  • You understand that collaboration and team play is key to success
  • Open to working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • BA/BS degree
  • Fluent in English.

 

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with a range of content, from audio to visual to creative assets.
  • Experience working across international time-zones.

Calm uses a geographic pay model that determines salaries based on the location where an employee lives. For this position, the base pay ranges across Calm’s pay tiers is as follows:

$116,000-$178,000

The base pay range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

Calm uses employee zip code to determine which pay range applies.

This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
