About the role:

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven intern to join the Cameo for Business (C4B) team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) intern. This role offers hands-on experience in outbound sales, lead generation, and pipeline management. The intern will support the C4B sales team by identifying potential business clients, crafting outreach strategies, and assisting in the sales process from prospecting to follow-up. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about B2B sales, client engagement, and building relationships.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct research to identify potential business leads and target accounts.
  • Develop and execute outbound email and phone campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  • Assist in qualifying leads by assessing their needs and aligning them with Cameo’s offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, responses, and outcomes using CRM tools.
  • Schedule and prepare for introductory meetings and product demos with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop personalized outreach strategies.
  • Track and analyze outreach effectiveness, adjusting tactics to optimize results.
  • Support the sales team in follow-up communications and nurturing relationships with prospects.
  • Assist in creating sales collateral and presentations tailored to business clients.

What you’ll need:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to conduct research and synthesize information to identify potential leads.
  • Comfortable with outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and email outreach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, MixMax).
  • Interest in B2B sales, business development, or client relationship management.
