As our Director of Strategic Partnerships, you'll play a foundational role in accelerating growth by identifying, structuring, and managing strategic partnerships with high-value channel partners. This role will directly influence the growth of the business and the growth of our burgeoning provider community.
You’ll own the full lifecycle of our partner relationships, from identifying and closing new opportunities to ensuring partners are successful and driving meaningful revenue. This role requires someone who can think big, execute fast, and rally cross-functional teams around complex rollouts.
This is a remote role. We are open to candidates located in the United States.
- Source and engage new partners directly and through collaboration with our field sales team
- Nurture both new and existing partnerships with regular touchpoints (in-person and remote)
- Structure partner deals and ensure legal agreements are executed
- Lead partner onboarding and field education to ensure successful rollout and integration
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner success, support, and escalations
- Collaborate with the CEO, CSO, sales, revenue strategy, and operations teams to ensure strong implementation
- Maintain a structured pipeline with detailed tracking and clear internal communication
- Drive performance improvement across partners — scaling what works and fixing what doesn’t
- Represent Candid at relevant industry events and help deliver engaging and impactful presentations
- A strong track record in building and managing strategic partnerships (dental experience is a strong plus)
- Demonstrated ability to grow and maintain a book of business of high-value partners
- Comfortable working in collaborative environments, navigating fast-moving teams, and contributing to a shared vision
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with fluency in data tools and pipeline tracking
- Ability to bring thoughtful questions, curiosity, and new ideas that push the business forward
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability
- Fast learner with the drive to take on challenges and the agility to adapt along the way
- Willing to travel 50%

Base compensation for this role is $150,000 annually plus a performance-based variable. Our compensation ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other perks. To determine our range, we consider as many of the following data points as are available to us: external market salary survey data, experience level, skillset and balancing internal equity relative to our other employees. We include equity in our compensation packages because we believe our employees should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Candid to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
