Come Ride With Us as our Junior Accounting Controller at Cannondale’s HQ in Woudenberg
At Cannondale, we believe in pushing boundaries not just in cycling, but in how we work together to build a better business. As part of our Finance team, you’ll support and perform daily transactional finance, financial reporting, tax, internal controls, and compliance activities. This is a broad and varied role that offers the opportunity to grow your expertise in both accounting and financial control, while collaborating closely with the Accounting Team, Corporate Finance, and cross-functional partners across our global organization.
Note: This is not a remote position. This role is based at the Cannondale Woudenberg location.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Support month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial accounting and group reporting
- Analyze and deliver monthly P&L and balance sheet reports, comparing against budgets and forecasts
- Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Prepare and support monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Help build scalable financial processes
- Contribute to budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with Commercial Finance on sales analysis and support additional finance projects as needed
What You Bring to the Table:
- HBO degree in Finance or Accounting or 1+ years of experience in accounting or controlling, with a desire to keep learning and growing
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a natural ability to solve problems and spot opportunities
- A solid foundation in accounting principles and techniques, including RJ (Dutch GAAP)
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where continuous improvement is part of the culture
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch fluency is preferred but not required
- Motivated by collaboration and shared goals, and energized by a team culture rooted in sportsmanship and trust
- Ready to deepen your expertise in technical accounting while expanding your impact through financial control
