Job Title: Senior Program Manager
Location: Cork, Ireland. Hybrid

Role Overview:
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex, high-impact programs spanning multiple teams. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering and GTM teams to ensure programs are well scoped, resourced, and executed to meet business objectives.
This role requires proactive leadership and influence skills with technical acumen, organizational finesse, and a passion for operational excellence.
Role Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
- Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale complex programs across multiple teams.
- Translate business, product, and technical strategy into clear, executable program plans, roadmaps and milestones.
- Manage dependencies, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional initiatives
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing transparency into project status, risks, dependencies, decision points, and timelines.
- Facilitate strong alignment between Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, GTM, and Customer teams proactively addressing misalignment and competing priorities.
- Advise stakeholders by framing options, implications, and recommendations to support timely, informed decision-making.
Delivery Governance:
- Contribute to the development and ongoing evolution of the Delivery function by shaping and piloting scalable delivery practices, frameworks, and operating sequences.
- Establish clear governance models that promote predictable delivery standards across programs.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish and track program KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates and insights to executive leadership and program sponsors regarding trends, risks, and opportunities, translating them into actionable recommendations.
Risk and Change Management:
- Proactively identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Lead change management efforts to support new processes and organisational transformations.
Qualifications and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management roles within technology-focused or professional services/consulting companies.
- Strong background in both Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile) and traditional Waterfall delivery environments.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent teams and complex technical initiatives.
- Hands-on involvement in establishing or scaling a Delivery function, including tooling and process standardization at organisation and program/project level
- Experience defining and measuring delivery metrics to inform leadership and guide performance improvements.
- Proven ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams, facilitating alignment and successful outcomes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills along with the ability to influence others
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical background or strong understanding of software development life cycles and architectural principles.
- Experience with tools such as Jira & Confluence.
- Experience in a SaaS or cloud-native product company.
- Certifications such as:
- CSM/CSPO (Certified ScrumMaster/Product Owner) / PSM (Professional Scrum Master) / PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner)
- SAFe/ LeSS/ Nexus
- PMP (Project Management Professional)/ Prince 2
