The Role
Capco is hiring a Data Strategy & Advisory Leader at Managing Principal level to scale our award-winning Data Practice within the Energy domain. You’ll spearhead strategic data advisory for global energy clients—shaping sustainable data strategies, leading innovation, and developing cutting-edge capabilities across the end-to-end data lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and implement enterprise-level Energy data strategies and data literacy programmes

  • Lead business development, shape data propositions, and expand Capco’s presence in the Energy sector

  • Oversee large-scale delivery across strategy, governance, and tooling in data advisory engagements

  • Mentor data consultants and foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance

  • Partner with domain leads to align data advisory efforts with client transformation agendas

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of data consulting experience, with at least 5 in the Energy industry

  • Demonstrated leadership in defining and operationalising data strategies at C-suite level

  • Strong track record of business development, client relationship growth and pipeline management

  • Deep expertise across data management frameworks (DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC) and tooling

  • Experience leading complex delivery teams across analytics, engineering and data governance

Bonus Points For

  • Formal certifications in data governance, data architecture or strategy

  • Exposure to data tooling such as Collibra, Solidatus or Ataccama

  • Proven success scaling internal teams and capability areas in a consulting environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory, ESG, or reporting challenges within the Energy domain

  • Experience delivering cross-sector engagements, particularly within hybrid FS/Energy spaces
