About the Job: 

As a Project Manager with a Data Management focus, you will play a key role in the delivery of data governance projects and change initiatives for our clients in the financial services industry. You will work closely with project teams, product owners, and client stakeholders to resolve conflicts and remove barriers, ensuring deliverables are on-time and meet quality standards. This role could manage a mix of Capco and client employees, all working towards the ultimate goal of delivering various projects on-time and at the highest quality.

 

What You’ll Get to Do: 

  • Lead complex, cross line of business projects delivering against critical regulatory and business-driven data management commitments
  • Work with various cross-functional teams, ensuring appropriate progress against milestones and deliverables with consideration to key risks, issues and dependencies
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and delivery teams to prioritize deliverables across the program roadmap and manage overall reporting and escalations
  • Guide teams through delivery and manage scope, risks and issues, resolving at the lowest level and escalating as needed
  • Provide guidance to business and technology teams to effectively meet program/project deliverables in alignment with overarching client operating models
  • Coordinate and consolidate implementation plans across various working groups
  • Provide change management and execution support across various workstreams and business areas
  • Preparation of Governance Meeting Materials, Executive Status Reporting and RAID Logs across working groups

 

What You’ll Bring With You:

  • In-depth experience delivering complex data transformation or global regulatory reporting transformation programs at GSIBs
  • Expertise in banking and capital markets domains with front to back knowledge of organizations (e.g. Front Office, Middle Office, Risk – Operations/Market/Credit, Operations, Technology, Financial and Compliance) to be able to face off to key stakeholders with strong credibility
  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Financial Regulatory Reporting (Liquidity, Prudential Reporting, Capital Planning CCAR/QMMF, International Reg Reporting, IRRBB)
    • Wholesale Loans
    • Banking
    • Operations
  • Strong working knowledge of key data management areas, including: data governance, data lineage, data quality, data domains
  • In-depth experience gained in either consulting or industry with exposure to shaping and delivering significant programs. Key areas of interest include regulatory-driven change, data management transformation, large scale transformation
  • Experience of working within or driving multiple, diverse and complex client programs and having accountability for managing deliverables and/or resources/teams
  • Self-starter and strong team player
  • 4+ years of experience in a Financial Services and/or Professional consulting firm
  • Proven record of success in large-scale transformation initiatives, delivering in line with regulatory commitments
  • Experience advising and delivering change projects as part of a long-term strategic partnership with leading financial institutions  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders - ability to drive and chair working groups, craft senior management updates
  • A highly entrepreneurial and flexible mindset with a desire to put all your experience and great ideas to good use
