About the Job:
Capco is looking for a Finance Specialist who will provide direct support for the financial activities of the region. This person will help manage the financial controls and internal reporting needs and focuses on achieving increased profitability for the Region. This individual is also responsible for assisting in analytical support including advanced Excel modelling, KPI reporting and operational process improvement.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Record financial transactions as part of month-end and year-end close processes
- Review and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements
- Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, management reporting packages, and forecasts
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Support internal and external audit requests, acting as a key point of contact for auditors
- Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for cost savings or process improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support their goals and objectives
What You’ll Bring with You:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of work experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with internal controls and audits
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Professional Services industry experience preferred
- Tax filing experience (income tax and sales tax) preferred

US Pay Range
$100,000 - $119,000 USD
