The Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Technology & Engineering team in Toronto. You’ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution — translating complex requirements into actionable stories and working closely with architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA to clarify and elaborate requirements

  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies

  • Support forward planning to ensure delivery readiness and prioritisation

  • Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within agile delivery teams

  • Strong communication and documentation skills to articulate business needs effectively

  • Understanding of software development processes and system architecture principles

  • Experience in stakeholder management and requirements elicitation

  • A proactive, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset

 

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in financial services or consulting environments

  • Exposure to digital transformation or enterprise-level projects

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools

  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to problem-solving
