Python Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Python server-side developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Python frameworks, database systems, and server-side logic to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities Write clean, testable, and efficient Python code for server-side logic and applications. Develop and integrate robust RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the server and front-end clients. Design, implement, and optimize data storage solutions, working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of applications. Debug and troubleshoot complex issues and bottlenecks to improve application stability and performance. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define, design, and ship new features. Automate routine tasks and deployment processes with CI/CD tools to improve development workflows.

Skills and qualifications Python proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Python programming, including its core concepts, data structures, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Web frameworks: Strong experience with at least one Python web framework, such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Databases: Expertise in database systems, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and using libraries like cx_oracle, pyodbc and pymssql. File Handling: Experience with python libraries like csv, openpyxl API development: Experience in designing and implementing APIs, including understanding RESTful principles and authentication protocols. Version control: Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git. Testing and debugging: Strong experience with unit testing and debugging tools and methodologies. Front-end fundamentals: A basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with front-end teams. Software architecture: Familiarity with design principles for scalable applications, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Communication skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to work effectively within a team. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Nice-to-have Snowflake knowledge and experience including snowflake-python-connector Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python (e.g., asyncio). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Experience with big data technologies or machine learning concepts.
