Consultant - Capital Markets Credit Risk

About the Role:
As a Consultant within the Capital Markets team, you will be working with some of the leading financial institutions in the market on delivering change programs. Your efforts will be key in expanding Capco’s footprint across critical capital markets functions and divisions, and helping to further build out our long-term strategic client partnerships.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Manage large IT projects (e.g., workflow tools, system migrations); partner with technical teams to implement business requirements and own delivery of development items while supporting testing, troubleshooting and solutioning
- Capture business requirements within clear, actionable BRDs for technology stakeholders; document procedures (current and proposed) and technical workflows (using MS Visio)
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Analytics teams on data reporting, data completeness and data accuracy
- Own reporting and management analytics; perform standardized and ad hoc data analytics, conduct detailed analyses of large data sets to draw conclusions, present findings and recommendations to senior management
- Develop and maintain global policies, procedures, and standards; assist with Audit & Regulatory inquiries
What You’ll Bring With You:
- Product knowledge of Derivatives (Fixed Income, FX, and Equity markets) and/or Securities & Margin Finance; 3+ years of relevant experience in Counterparty Credit Risk or related fields is preferred
- Project Management background; ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Business Analysis experience with documenting requirements and business process flows
- Strong data analysis skills; ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize complex and large data sets
- Experience with Management Reporting
- Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to manage stakeholders across various business units and reporting levels
- Motivated with ability to quickly learn and conduct independent research; will need to apply new knowledge to own analysis and operate independently
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- VBA and Python programming skills are preferred
