Job Role -

Senior Consultant – Data Quality (DQ & Issue Management)

Location: Banglore, Chennai

Experience: 8–14 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to drive Data Quality frameworks and issue management processes, ensuring structured identification, prioritisation, and resolution of data quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Data Quality Issue Management processes
• Manage data quality issue lifecycle (logging, prioritisation, RCA, remediation, closure)
• Perform root cause analysis and assess impact of data quality issues
• Define and execute remediation plans to address data quality gaps
• Prioritise issues based on business impact and risk exposure
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to drive issue resolution
• Define and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and thresholds
• Develop data quality dashboards and reporting for stakeholders
• Track issues to closure and ensure timely remediation
• Drive adoption through training, governance forums, and stakeholder engagement

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–14 years in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Analysis roles
• Strong experience in data issue management and RCA
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis/profiling
• Experience working in complex data environments
• Strong stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field
• CDMP or Data Quality-related certifications
• Experience with tools such as Informatica DQ, Talend, Ataccama

Experience in BFSI Industry preferred
